Description: SN. 225858. Cal. 12ga. Built on a 1-1/2 frame 30" Vulcan steel brls that have matted concave top rib, small brass front bead, and usual rib legend. Splinter forend with casehardend steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Casehardened boxlock receiver with zig zag border pattern and "PARKER BROS" on sides. Blued trigger guard with SN at tang and zig zag border engraved. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, auto safety. Capped pistol grip walnut buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a slightly hardening Pachmayr white lined waffle pad. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 10oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-5/8". Min. Condition
Excellent as well cared for and lightly field used. Brls with 90-95% slightly thinning original brl blue. Buttstock and forearm are sound with 90-95% original finish remaining and some areas of finish added for preservation. Frame retains 75-80% vivid original case color. Trigger guard with hints of original blue remaining. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. This gun is the exact definition of "THE OLD RELIABLE". C&R.
