Description: SN. 91294. Cal. 12ga. Made in 1961 with 26-1/2" Special Steel brls that have slightly raised matted ventilated top rib with twin white beads. Sides of top brl with usual maker's stamps. Brl lumps are floral scroll engraved and breech ends with light leaf engraving on top brl. Field style forend is checkered in point pattern and has near fully engraved latch release and iron. Left side of brl lumps with skeet choke stamps and SN towards bottom lug. Frame is near full coverage engraved in fine early Diana Grade pattern and signed "R. DEWIL". Left side with 5 pheasants, right side with 4 ducks all in relief scenes. Bottom with 2 relief quail and trigger guard with 2 large relief rabbits on bow, all of which is surrounded by well executed shaded relief floral scroll. Gun made with gold plated SST, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Flame figured straight grip American walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has gold oval on toeline, and terminates with a leather faced Browning white lined waffle pad. Excellent as field used. Brls with 95-97% factory blue. Top rib with small dip between first two posts which should raise easily. Buttstock and forend are excellent with scattered light handling marks and retain most of their custom hand rubbed oil finish, checkering beginning to fill. Frame is excellent. Bores are bright and shiny Mechanics are excellent. C&R.
