Description: SN. C09233B. Cal. 12ga. Built in 1983 with 28" Boehler steel brls that have slightly raised matted ventilated top rib with fluorescent front bead. Maker's name engraved in script on left side and brl lumps are vine scroll engraved. Walnut forend is finely point pattern checkered with leaf & scroll engraved latch release and iron. Interior of forend iron is engine turned and ejectors are gold washed. Full sidelock receiver is beautifully vine scroll & floral engraved and has gold washed pins as well as beaded fences. Bottom of frame with maker's name around brl recess and is near full coverage vine scroll & floral engraved. Blued top lever with gold inlaid crown at center is floral pierced at thumb point. Gold inlaid "S" ahead of safety slide. Blued trigger guard with floral scroll on bow and SN in panel at center tang. Right brl recess stamped "S3EELL". Signed by the engraver "A. MUFFOLINI" ahead of trigger guard on right side. Gun made with gold plated single trigger, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Very nicely figured flat knob pistol grip walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has right handed palm swell, and terminates with its original checkered butt. Condition
Extremely fine retaining about 97% original finishes throughout. Gun does have some minor handling marks and has been fired but overall it quite strong for condition. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Case is very good with some scrapes and minor losses. MODERN.
