Description: SN. FWS6265. Cal. 16ga. Built with 26" brls that have raised matted top rib with small brass front bead. Brls with usual maker's stamps. Walnut beavertail forend checkered in point pattern with blued roller type release and iron. Casehardened sidelock receiver with maker's name stamped at front of locks is floral leaf engraved in standard Ideal pattern of the era. Blued trigger guard with leaf engraving on bow, SN at rear of tang. Gun made with Hunter One SST, extractors, non-auto safety. Capped pistol grip walnut buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a Pachmayr white line waffle pad. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 3oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-3/4". Min. Excellent showing some field use. Brls with 95-97% original blue remaining. Brl strike is light. Forearm is excellent and sound with original finishes and minor handling marks. Locks with over 80% original mousy gray case color remaining. Frame has about 60% original color remaining with some beginning oxidation at carry point. Trigger guard with about 80% original blue remaining. Buttstock is excellent and mostly sound with restoration behind grip and original finishes ahead of grip. Bores are bright and shiny though there are 2 minor dents in left tube towards muzzle.
