Description: SN. NVSN. Cal. 16gax16gax8x57JRS. Built with 24-9/16" Krupp steel brls that have slightly raised matted top rib. Rib with flip up rear sight and blade front sight. Breech ends of brls with wedge of engraving and "PRIMA KRUPP STAHL". Splinter forend is checkered in point pattern and has small Schnabel tip as well as engraved latch release and iron. Scalloped and reinforced boxlock receiver is full coverage engraved with relief engraved bugling bull and cow elk on left side, right side with rabbits, ducks, quail, and doe engraved. Bottom of trigger plate with relief dogs on point all of which is surrounded by relief floral scroll. Brl fences with side clips that are engraved in relief oak leaf pattern which extends on to the top lever and tang. Trigger guard with rabbit at center and scroll on bow and rear of tang. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, non-auto safety, side safety, disc bushed strikers, and Greener crossbolt. Horn capped walnut pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has beaded cheek piece on left side, sling mount on toeline, and terminates with its original lined horn buttplate. Gun is housed in a full leather and red felt interior case. Right shotgun brl currently has removable .22 MAG insert installed. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 4oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-3/4". Bore Diameter: .675(Both). Condition
Very good to excellent as partially refinished. Brls with about 95% of what appears to be their original blue remaining. Buttstock and forend are near excellent with finish added. Coin finish on frame is generally very good. Bores are very good with some stubborn fowling. Mechanics are very good. Case is very good with some scrapes and rubs. 5604. C&R.
