Condition
Original paint with very minor wear under the original coat of varnish that has darkened slightly; spots of touchup on head, edge of tail, and one wing patch; a few tiny dents, otherwise very good structurally.
Provenance
Provenance: Pa rt of a rig found in Lacrosse, WI. Lowrey traded a dozen decoys for two laborers to dig his basement. The rig included 11 mallards and one black duck. Of the mallards only two were hens. These are considered Lowrey's finest production.
