Description
SN. 32448. Philadelphia era gun w/ 28” Chromox Fluid Steel bbls. 2-1/2” chambers. The #3 weight bbls have matted concave top rib with small brass front bead and usual Philadelphia markings on tops of tubes. Splinter forend with light floral engraved Deeley latch release, checkered in point pattern on sides. Shaded floral scroll engraved receiver with “Ansley H. Fox” in banner on sides. Gun made with double triggers, extractors and non auto safety. The straight grained ball grip walnut buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with its original lined HRBP. Lightly engraved trigger guard bow with SN at tang. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 14oz. Bore Diameter: .728(Rt) .726 (L). Bore Restriction: .010 (Rt) .020(L). DAC: 1-5/8”. DAH: 2-7/8”. LOP: 14-1/8”.

”. CONDITION: Very good to excellent as found and appears untouched. Bbls retain more than 95% of their original blue. Stock and forearm are sound with about 90% of their crackling and flaking original finish and have scattered light handling marks and impressions. Receiver retains about 30% of its toning original case color. Top lever is right of center. Mechanics are crisp. Bores are bright and shiny. C&R.
