Description
SN. 223539. Cal. 10ga. Made on a No. 3 frame with 32" Parker Special Steel brls, 2-3/4" chambers, that have matted concave top rib, small steel front bead, and usual rib legend. Splinter forearm checkered in diamond pattern with lightly engraved steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Casehardened boxlock receiver with small light bursts of scroll. Blued trigger guard with wave border engraving on bow, SN at tang. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, auto safety. Lightly figured capped pistol grip walnut butsttock checkered in point pattern and terminates with its original DHBP. Buttstock with very rare and seldom seen patent stamp behind grip cap. WEIGHT: 9lbs. 5oz. Min. Wall Thickness: .038(Both). Bore Diameter: .780(Rt) .779(L). Bore Restriction: .032(Rt) .046(L). DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-5/8". LOP: 14-1/4".
Condition
Excellent as well cared for and field used. Brl with about 95% of its original toning blue. Forearm is very good with scattered impressions and retains about 90% of its original finish with some finish added. Frame retains about 60% of tis original speckling rainbow case color. Trigger guard has drifted with traces of original blue remaining. Buttstock is near excellent with scattered light impressions and a tight beginning grain separation emanating from right side of top tang at rear. Buttplate is very good. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. C&R.
