Condition
Excellent as partially refurbished and period modified with professional custom stocks. Brls retain more than 95% of an older restored blue. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and professional replacements as noted above and retain more than 70% of their custom hand rubbed finish with scattered handling marks. Frame has toned to gray with a trace or two of case color retain with engraving still mostly fine. Trigger guard is excellent as restored and retains more than 95% of its restored finish. Bores with pitting. Mechanics are fine. A very rare L.C. Smith with only 6 made in this configuration, it is entirely feasible this is the only one special ordered as true live bird gun. C&R.
