Description
SN. 1431. Cal. 12ga. Made with 30” Winchester Proof Steel brls, 2-3/4” chambers, that have matted concave top rib with usual early brl markings on tops of tubes. Brls with choke stamps “MOD/FULL”. Splinter forend with early style roller release is nicely scroll engraved and checkered in point pattern. Blued frame is very nicely engraved with large pheasant in oval on left, grouse on right, surrounded by scroll. Bottom of frame with Setter holding a fallen pheasant in circle. Blued trigger guard with Setter in oval on bow, scroll on tang. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. Gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of safety slide. Early style capped pistol grip walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern, and terminates with an aging Noshoc brand pad. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 7oz. Min. Wall Thickness: .031(Rt) .029(L). Condition
Excellent as custom finished and retains nearly all custom finishes throughout. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. C&R.
