Description
SN. 44931. Cal. 20ga. Proved in 2000 and made with 28” Mono-bloc constructed fluid steel brls that have slightly raised matted rib with small brass front bead. Top of right brl stamped “SIACE di GELMINI SNC/MADE IN ITALY”. Top of left tube engraved “NEW ENLAND ARMS CO. KITTERY POINT ME”. Polished brl flats with SN, proof marks, and brls made with 2-3/4” chambers. The slim beavertail forend is checkered in diamond pattern and has Anson type push button release and border engraved blued iron. The casehardened sidelock receiver is lightly scroll and border engraved. Left side engraved in script “SIACE di GELMINI”, right side “GARDONE V.T.” at bottom of locks. The brl fences are floral and punch dot shaded engraved. Bottom of frame with carved side rails and wave border engraving. The rolled edge blued trigger guard is wave border engraved and has SN at long tang. Gun made with single non-selective trigger, extractors, non-auto safety. The lightly figured walnut buttstock has carved teardrops behind locks, is checkered in 2 point pattern through wrist and terminates with its original full checkered butt. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 6oz. Condition
Excellent as lightly field used. Retaining more than 95% original wood and metal finishes throughout. There are a few light handling marks noted but overall the gun only shows limited use. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. MODERN.
