Description
SN. 280-36-7557. Cal. .30-06 Springfield. Made with 22" brl. Right side of brl is stamped “BOHLER-STAHL”. Features an octagon to round brl, full matted rib with ramp front sight a dovetail brass bead, folding leaf rear sight on base, jeweled bolt. Walnut stock features black horn forend, deluxe checkering on forearm and pistol grip, swept right hand shadow line cheekpiece. Nicely marbled wood. Steel buttplate with trap and grip cap. Sports a Balfor 4x scope on adjustable Bausch & Lomb mounts and an aging leather sling.
Condition
Metal retains about 90% of the high polish blue finish. Stock finish has many many marks and ding, some deep. Floorplate and trigger guard retain approximately 75% blue with some spotting. Scope and mounts were finished in black enamel and have handling marks, optically clear. Sling shows use and leather crackling. Bore appears fine but needs cleaning. Mechanically good. MODERN.
